Weekend Gallery Walk goes to the dogs!
Hundreds of folks enjoyed a near-perfect day Saturday for the IU Health North Hospital Gallery Walk. In addition to the ribbon-cutting at Hoosier Salon, this was a day for dogs.
Visitors were invited to bring their pooches and then pose for pictures. Many of those pictures are now posted on the Arts & Design District Facebook page, begging for "likes" so that the most "liked" puppy can win a prize package.
From now until Friday, these pups will be vying for a $100 overnight stay Happy Dog Hotel and Spa, complete with grooming.
Meanwhile, at the Hoosier Salon, you can still catch the excitement of the grand opening at 22 N. Range Line Road.
The new gallery is featuring two new exhibits – "Impressions of Indiana" featuring Hoosier Salon artists Jeff Klinker, Chris Newlund, and Marilyn Witt, showcasing stunning oil & pastel paintings of Indiana scenes. "Take it Outside!" is an exhibit featuring Hoosier Salon artists Rena Brouwer, Jeanne McLeish and Dave Voelpel showcasing beautiful watercolor paintings, most of which were created en plein air.
