Vitality Bowls opens in Carmel
A recently vacated spot on Main Street in the Carmel Arts & Design District has already signed up a new business.
Vitality Bowls will open Feb. 7, offering Açaí Bowls, Smoothies, and Paninis to customers in a business spot that used to be home to the now-closed Huddles.
Eric and Sherrie Moore, with co-owners Dave and Irene Tang, announced the opening of Vitality Bowls at 110 West Main Street, Suite 115, just steps off the Monon Trail and in the heart of the District.
With a focus on primarily local, organic ingredients, Vitality Bowls offers low fat/low calorie bowls and smoothies made from the Amazon’s nutritious Açaí berry as well as a selection of fresh juices, soups, salads, and panini’s. All bowls and smoothies are blended and topped with a variety of superfood ingredients, such as fresh fruit, spirulina, bee pollen, chia seeds, goji berries, cacao nibs, and more.
Açaí berries offer a range of benefits – from promoting weight loss, maintaining healthy blood pressure, and strengthening the immune system to improving quality of sleep and helping slow down the aging process – making açaí bowls and smoothies the perfect meal to propel a healthy lifestyle.
“We are thrilled to introduce Vitality Bowls to a health-minded community such as Carmel," said Eric Moore of Indianapolis. “With seasonally driven selections and a casual, healthy, delicious menu, Vitality Bowls is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a nutritious snack, or even a vitamin-packed dessert.
"By the way I’m a meat and potatoes guy and I love this stuff."
Co-owner Irene Tang experienced her first Acai bowl on the beautiful island of Maui where fresh fruit and natural ingredients abound year-round. As a runner, she is excited to have not only discovered the Vitality Bowls franchise minutes away from her hometown of San Ramon, CA, but also to be able to bring this amazing concept to Indiana. “An Oatmeal Bowl is a great way to fuel up for any long run! My go-to meal after a run or a race is the Warrior Bowl with peanut butter for added protein and recovery!”
Using only the freshest ingredients, all smoothies and bowls are made without fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar, or artificial preservatives. Vitality Bowls offers breakfast, lunch or snack options designed to fit each customer’s needs at an affordable price. Notable items include: the Detox Bowl made with Açaí, Flax Seeds, Spirulina, Kale, Strawberries, Bananas, and topped with Blueberries, Bananas, Almonds, Goji Berries, and Honey as well as the Hulk Smoothie made with Açaí, Guarana, Almond Milk, Spirulina, Kale, Broccoli, Whey Protein, Strawberries, and Bananas.
A selection of paninis such as the Turkey, Cheese, Spinach, Sun Dried Tomatoes give guests a savory option for lunch. Paninis are just $3.99 with the purchase of any bowl, smoothie, soup or salad.
