Love Living Well at Aberdeen

Family On Dock Web

Aberdeen isn’t just a place to call home, it is a community to join that has been carefully crafted
to cultivate a stronger connection to people and nature, as well as encourage a more active lifestyle.

Aberdeen was developed by Duke Homes with a strong focus on developing amenities that cultivate connections to people and nature. After ten years of planning, Duke Homes launched Aberdeen, a master-planned gated community located in Center Grove. This upscale subdivision brings back timeless features within its rolling terrain, offering peace of mind, room to breathe, and space to connect for all ages.

Aberdeen was selected by the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis as the host site of the 2021 First Internet Bank Home-A-Rama. This popular annual home show drew nearly 10,000+ Hoosiers from around central Indiana to tour a collection of high-end model homes crafted by some of Indy’s top custom home builders.

Dena Marietta, marketing and events manager for Bargersville-based Duke Homes, says the company is excited to introduce the neighborhood to those unfamiliar with Aberdeen. “Aberdeen is Indiana’s first wellness lifestyle community, providing more than just another planned housing development and creating a true neighborhood community where residents have the opportunity to interact with each other and their surroundings,” she says.

Family Community Garden Web“At Aberdeen we have set aside 90 acres of dedicated common space with scattered green spaces, lakes, woods, trails and a working farm featuring a farm store, community garden, orchard and vineyard.” The community also features programmed activities, communal buildings, sports courts and other amenities, allowing residents to connect with each other, nature and their community.

Duke Homes believes in family and in community – they believe life is better together, which is why Aberdeen is packed full of gathering points and community spaces designed for activity and interaction. The lengthy planning allowed Duke Homes to refine plans resulting in a more focused approach to their original mission. Foregoing a private country club and shrinking the size of the site to instead focus on providing amenities that cultivate a more family-friendly, neighbor-engaging, thriving community.

“Everything Duke Homes does is focused on our vision to impact the communities we live, work and build in, to such a degree that they be recognized as places where residents love their neighbors as themselves better than anywhere else in the Midwest,” Marietta says.

Every home in Aberdeen will be a custom home so no two homes will be the same and every home is designed with the highest standards and with its specific lot in mind. Aberdeen has carefully selected and invited only the “best of the best” local home builders to be a part of this one-of-a-kind neighborhood to ensure that every home is uniquely crafted with timeless design and a personal touch.

Planning started over a decade ago, and now, the final result, Aberdeen, is finally here.
