Carmel Fit Body Boot Camp, now located at 1021 West Main St., describes itself as a results driven and energetic fitness and fat loss workout program that includes motivation, accountability and dynamic resistance training; all designed to get you the body that you want in a safe, fun and non-intimidating atmosphere.

Every workout session is led by an experienced, certified Carmel personal trainer and is designed to be fun, supportive and challenging, while burning maximum fat, in minimum time. Personalization is key to getting the best possible results, which is why our workout programs are modified to fit your goals and individual fitness level.

But unlike working one-on-one with a personal trainer, our workout programs are done in a group setting which makes them fun, motivating, challenging AND it keeps the cost of the program affordable compared to private one-on-one personal training sessions.

Joshua Commons is the owner. He is a NASM certified personal trainer with a degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University.

"I have been changing lives for nearly 13 years now as a personal trainer," Joshua says. "I have helped individuals lose as much as 180lbs in 14 months or gain 35lbs in 6 months. But the key word in all of this is helped."

Whether it's improving your time running a 5k, getting physically stronger or simply reducing stubborn belly fat, Fit Body Boot Camp offers a path to success.

"My job is to listen and grow with each and every person, so that as a team we can knock down any roadblocks or obstacles in our way. There will be ups and downs, but my job is to create stability and consistency so you can count on me to be your rock!" says Joshua.

While he was finishing his degree at Ball State, Joshua had the opportunity to work in a cardiac rehabilitation center, where the majority of patients were recovering from open heart surgery. It was a very depressing and frustrating environment.

"The majority of people were in shock or in the 'why me' mode," he said. "When I graduated, I made a vow that from that moment on, I would dedicate my life to working on the prevention of health issues and not reacting to issues after they had already occurred. So, I stepped into the personal training field working to help individuals, one-by-one, achieve their fitness goals."

But he also recognized that the price point of personal training was too expensive for many. So when he had the opportunity to work with the Fit Body Boot Camp team and offer expertise as a personal trainer for only 10 percent of the price of one-on-one training, he was thrilled.

"The key is the small group setting where the team shares the price. The workouts are the same, and results are guaranteed. This is an opportunity where we can finally get results and keep them as we create better habits to last a lifetime as a team!"
