Celebrity vocal coach Ron Browning comes to Midwest School of Voice
Midwest School of Voice (MSV), a professional vocal and performance school in downtown Carmel, will be hosting vocal coach to the stars Ron Browning this summer. Registration is now open to the public to reserve one-on-one vocal sessions June 22-26 with varying morning, afternoon, and evening hours. Sessions can be scheduled by calling the Midwest School of Voice Main Office at (317) 660-1372, and can be booked in half-hour increments.
If vocalists have not previously worked one-on-one with a coach at Midwest School of Voice, Mr. Browning requires a vocal evaluation to be cmpleted with an MSV coach prior to booking a session with him, as he only works with referrals from labels, major studios or coaches who are familiar with his techniques. Vocal evaluations can be booked by calling the MSV Main Office, or by using the online scheduling system atdiscovermsv.com.
Mr. Browning says of the school, “MSV includes several up-to-date music studios (each teacher has his or her own studio with recording and other equipment, etc.), large rooms for group meetings and performances, and a top-notch staff gifted in voice, guitar, and piano. If you live anywhere in the area, Midwest School of Voice is the place to study.”
About Ron Browning: As one of the most sought after vocal coaches in the world, Ron typically only accepts students by referral from labels. The chance to work with him is a very unique opportunity. Ron's client list includes artists from a variety of musical backgrounds, including country songstress, Wynonna Judd, star of NBC's The Voice, Meghan Linsey, three-time Grammy Winner, Keb Mo, and superstar, Carrie Underwood. In addition to his Nashville-based vocal coaching, Ron serves as a vocal and performance coach at the Nashville Jazz Workshop and is a voting member of both The Grammy Foundation and the Country Music Award Association.
About Midwest School of Voice: MSV encourages artists of all ages to fine tune and enhance their vocal instrument in every possible way, which definitely includes developing strong performance skill and healthy vocal techniques, as well as songwriting, music theory, piano/guitar/ukulele accompaniment, and maybe all of those put together. Our well-rounded, experienced instructors challenge each student to explore and expand to define their own musical style, rather than expecting the student to conform to only one genre of music or concept of vocal performance as an art.
