Burn Boot Camp
“Strength in our bodies and passion in our souls” is the motto of a new fitness studio in town—Burn Boot Camp (2 locations- 12955 Old Meridian Street, Carmel and 8607 E. 116th Street, Fishers). Co-owners Kristen Katibah and Jennifer Paynter say Burn Boot Camp can change your life, one 45 minute work-out at a time.
Burn Boot Camp changed the lives of both Kristen and Jennifer (known as Paynt). They met years ago when they were camp regulars at a Burn Boot Camp in Charlotte, NC. They fell in love with the philosophy and the environment of this unique gym and community and decided to make fitness their careers by opening the first franchises in Indiana. Kristen is the Co-head Trainer at the Fishers location and Paynter is the Head Trainer in Carmel. Both locations have a membership base that is continually growing—success the franchise partners say is due to the effective workouts and the continual support and accountability the members receive.

Each camp is 45 minutes, except a 30 mins Express Camp at 5am for those who need to get to work, and is led by a Certified Personal Trainer. This is what really sets B
urn apart fromother fitness programs out there, “It’s personal training in a group setting,” Katibah says. “We’re getting side by side with someone, giving everyone a few minutes with us to have their own victory, to give them a chance to do what they didn’t think they could do before”.

Each day the high-energy camp focusing on a different part of the body and style of training. They incorporate strength, burst, HITT, cardio, and muscular endurance within their protocols so every day is different and you are continually being challenged. This mentality is hung up right on the wall when you walk through the doors at Burn Boot Camp, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you!”
In addition to the 8-9 transforming workout camps per day, membership to Burn Boot Camp always includes free childwatch during several camps, co-ed and women only camp times, and one-on-one focus meetings where you meet with the Trainer to set, review, and make a plan to reach your goals. There are many membership packages available, and first-time visitors can take advantage of a free 14 Day Test Drive. Also, there are free camps at Burn Boot Camp every Saturday that are co-ed, open to the public, and offer complimentary childwatch!
Being a member of Burn Boot Camp is far more than just an ordinary gym membership. “We are building relationships that go way past member and Trainer,” said Paynt. “We are there every day with them on this journey and will do everything we can to help them reach their goals and be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.”
